My take:

Hillary says she doesn't like to make her faith public. To me this is an understandable misunderstanding of doing things for public gain, but aren't we supposed to wear our faith in Jesus prominately?

Obama says he's Christian, but he also says that we have to respect every religion in the United States now that it has become more diverse.

Edwards seems like he is steadfast Christian.

Feel free to add information you know about the candidates. I can't say I know a whole lot about them. It's fairly obvious that a Democrat is going to get elected, so the primaries mean more than the election itself. So lets discusss.

you have to choose which is the closer..since obama is a muslim he is not...so it was a toss up between Edwards and Clinton..and sigh....clinton won...

Since when is Obama a Muslim? Isn't he a member of a United Church of Christ, in Chicago?

He's not a Muslim! Wasn't that proven to be a misleading story about the Madrassa?

unless he has changed his faith since he was sworn in to congress at which time he was sworn in on the Koran..I guess that was a mistake also..

Obama is not a Muslim. He is a Christian. As for him swearing in on a Koran, I have never heard of this happening and doubt if it is truth or not. I'd like to see a source to backup this information.

I personally feel that Clinton is most in line with my Christian ideals.

Obama was never a muslim and was never sworn in on the koran.

He gets my vote for having views most in line with christianity.

I'm sorry but you are mistaken, the Congressman sworn in with the Koran was Keith Ellison, who is from Michigan.

As to which of these Democrats is the most Christian?? Who are we to judge? Isn't judging someone's salvation God's job?

To be honest, that sounds more like a legend than something that really happened.

I thought that the whole "Obama went to a Madrassa school" thing was cooked up by Fox News or something. I didn't follow the entire story, but my sense was that it was a complete fabrication. I don't believe that Obama is a Muslim. But even if he was, that wouldn't necessarily make him unfit for the office of President any more than being a Christian makes one unfit for office.

That wasn't Obama.

That was Senator Ellison, from Minnesota.

Gee you make it seem so simple. You should have a word with St. Peter, this question would be a far easy way to decide who gets to go through those pearly gates.

So you don't care about the slaughter of unborn babies?

However, given the current situation in the United States, IF he was Muslim (which he appears not to be), that alone would make him unelectable.

It doesn't matter what they claim. George Bush claims to be a christian, but he called the constitution a "god-d*mn piece of paper". Everything they say is for their own prestige and success. If they say they believe in biblical priciples, chances are they're just trying to win some christian voters.....so you really have to be careful. The best thing you can do, is summarise everything they stand for, and try to decide who's motives are the most Christ-like.
