In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is not a devasting prayer request, but it is something that i need prayer for...

I am a Canadian, and got an American Credit Card. I am having troubles with the bank over there. I would mail payments, only to have them lost. Which would add $25 admin fees every month it was lost. (Not fair but eh). Anyways, I have not been able to successfully get money to them for over six months now. I am afraid to cross the border for fear of being arrested. (Am I crazy?).

Anyways, could you please pray, at your leisure, that I can get the full balance and go pay them off? I want to make good on my debt, but it costs so much money, and is a long drive to get there to make the payment.

I need a miracle on this one!

Jesus, watch over this situation and use your angels to bring about a speedy remedy and help her get the money to pay the balance and to not fear any more because they will not arrest her about this. God, give her Your help and peace. Jesus, calm her spirit. Amen. They are more interested in you paying, than in arresting you. Im sure your not the only Cana dian with this trouble with the mail, lets be realistic. Hope this picture of the Blessed Mother brings you peace. She prays for us each day , just as Jesus does. She wants all to be saved.

LOrd Jesus please give wisdom and understanding. Help her to contact the Better Business Bureau in the United States and tell them her problem and maybe they can help her fix it. Please be with her and give her peace of mind and give her the money she needs to pay this debt off completely off in Jesus Name BLess

Relax.. there are so many Americans that owe money.. they don't put you in jail for owing a credit card company. Unless it was fraud.

quick ? why can you not pay them electronically? most c.c. companies have a web site that allows you to make a payment with your check over the INTENET OR THE PHONE!
If not I pay mine thru my bank bill pay. Or are things different since your in Canada sorry I have no idea how it works over your way.

But check into this you shouldn't have to drive to pay them.

Sorry to hear that.. what about phone payments? are you allowed that there? would be cheaper than gasoline. Perhaps if you spoke to the c.c. company they would be able to arrange something.
