Odd Cravings

Ok so I'm sitting here and suddenly I get this crazy craving for a turkey sandwich with miracle whip(the miracle whip is the key ingrediant here ). I'm not talking about deli turkey here, I mean the real thanksgiving left over turkey sandwich. Unfortunately that's an impossible craving to give into at the moment, which annoys me lol.

So what about you? Have you had moments where a craving has just struck you, like you can almost taste and smell it? Have you or your spouse gone to any great lengths to satisfy your cravings?

When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved chocolate frosting and sour cream and onion chips, together.

that is so funny, i was really wanting turkey the other day....like the real kind, but where the heck do you get a turkey in september??? lol

my main thing is that if someone mentions a food or i see one on a commercial or something....i want it and i am miserable until i get it lol

I've had weird cravings throughout this pregnancy.. and one of them has been caramel flan.. Normally I wouldn't care to much for the stuff but now I gotta have it lol..

That and milk. I drink glass after glass. Before I got pregnant I would rarely drink it. Another thing that I've been craving the last 3 months is watermelon. I can eat a TON of it!!

BTW this is my third pregnancy.

I've been craving turkey, too. Yesterday I sat down and planned out our Thanksgiving menu and my husband told me I was crazy

I made a full out thanksgiving dinner in July...with a whole chicken because I couldn't get a turkey.


I have eaten pickles and sour cream.
anything and everything with onions and garlic.

O yeah I hate that! It usually happens late at night too!

that's the worst!!!! ruth mentioned taco bell the other night and i decided i was going to go get some, i looked up to go get dressed...and it was 1 am!!! lol, needless to say, i just went to bed!!!

I did that with strawberries too, especially in the beginning. it was the only thing i could half way keep down. i was SO BIG on fruit at first, i think that is one of the reasons i only lost weight! come to think of it, strawberries sound reeeeaaaally good right now!!!

With my first, I craved sandwiches, kiwi's and drank gallons and gallons of milk. Oh and oranges...I would eat 3 to 4 a day!
With my second, I craved chocolate and cupcakes...and spicy spicy spicy Mexican food. YUMMY
Are you sure you can't get a turkey? I know the grocery stores around here carry "parts" of turkey but also frozen turkey...

Haha o yeah Taco Bell was something I craved a lot in my first trimester and I used to hate it before I was pregnant lol. I actually did eat it at midnight and I was so worried I would pay for that lol but I actually did well eating like that then...not so much now though! :o I'm hungry now lol!

All this talk got my cravings going lol, so hubby made a sonic run with me at 11! I love being pregnant !

LOL my DH informed me the other day that he was really craving cornbread....i said honey, you HATE cornbread...but i had to go to the store and get cornbread and make it for him! He has really got the sympathy pains and cravings down, i thought it was all hosh posh (sympathy stuff in men) prior to being pregnant, but my DH is a living example that they are VERY real!!!
