October skies are beautiful, just like that photograph. Maybe that is why the first satellite was launched in October of 1957. The skies beckon us as humans to explore this great cathedral made by God we know as the upper atmosphere and outer space. This is a September sky when my folks and I visited California. Something about skies in general between September and November are gorgeous. Probably because the change in season brings more unstable weather.
