October - Pastor Appreciation Month?

I received an insert that October is Pastor Appreciation month at this mornings service. I don't have much money right now but I wanted to do soemthing. I bought a thank-you card and am going to add a note about him performing the baptism. Wondering if your church or you are doing anything special, or what you think of this month?

The church I grew up in came together to do something as a church. I like that. My current church isn't that organized. With our new pastor, I don't know what we'll be doing in an official capacity.

I had no idea there was a "Pastor Appreciation" month! And since I am currently "between churches" shall we say ... I don't have a Pastor to appreciate
