OCD & Emotional Impulses?

Hi,

Does anyone who have OCD on here deal with sudden emotional impulses to curse at God? I know that it happens with words and phrases in terms of intrusive thoughts, but does anyone also experience it in the form of impulses in an emotional sense?

Does anyone know if quick emotional impulses to curse God or of cursing at God are documented as part of OCD clinically (as in not just by own personal experience with OCD, but recognized by the general medical establishment consensus as a feature of OCD also).

It is actually documented part of OCD. Martin Luther reported he had thoughts of cursing God and of the devil's butt. OCD is caused by any fear, thus you're afraid of cursing God, which is why you focus on it. God understands you don't mean it (even if the OCD lies and tells you He doesn't).

Yes they are OCD. I struggled with a spike of that just this morning. Don't ever let your mind tell you that it's not the OCD because that will take you into such a bad place.
