CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have this a lot. Praying for a person I love but don't know. I keep getting the thoughts that she's a horrible person, not worthy of my love or prayers. It hurts because it's a constant battle in my head to keep thoughts of love and kindness vs she's a harlot or stuff like that.

To be honest, I've been though all that before. I'm at the point where my faith and trust in God being love is at an all time low. I look at life like it's death ow, I'm just waiting on my time.

I believe God is gonna do what he wants. If Jesus was the plan for humanity, but humanity had to believe and accept it in this fallen state, well that's a vey weak plan, and makes Satan stronger.

No, I'm not saying that. I know we live in a fallen world. What i'm saying is if traditional church teaching of Turn or Burn is true, then God made a huge mistake, and most of his creation are doomed.
