Obsessions over God's existence

My OCD has really been acting up for a couple days. It keeps putting thoughts like "God doesn't exist", "you're delusional", "you're just pretending", "this world is all there is", "it's a lie". I know it's not true, but I can't seem to believe in God now. Idk.

I have intrusive thoughts of my own, just today. And i thought, "i dont have to be a victim of these disgusting thoughts." It doesnt have to be the norm. I dont have to accept it. I can fight back. I can imagine holy things as well to defeat the darkness, imagining a future of beauty for my relatives, and hey why not my enemies also. Hope you find what you need brother, good night

Ps. Thats the beauty of Jesus healing the paralytic and saying to Pharisee, whats easier heal the feet or sins are forgiven? Pharisee thought feet were the problem cause they were only seeing physical world, Jesus knew the heart was the real issue, to forgive sins, the spiritual world is the only real world, and what truly matters

well ... if one is to err ... which err has the most risk?

I don't know how much you study His Word ... but you/we should do so daily and we learn just how cohesive it is ... and prophecies .... numerous .... how can that be with such accuracy?

Many have claimed His Word is a bunch of fables/fairy tales .... yet a lot of it can be verified (and has been verified) through our knowledge of history and also through archeological finds.

These thoughts you are having are from the evil one ... pray to the Lord to oust all evil from you. When you have these thoughts .... respond with away from me satan!

You KNOW it's not true .... so don't believe it and rest in that.

May the Lord bring peace to your mind. AMEN.

His Word is your assurance and protection.

OCD can be so difficult to deal with! Are you currently receiving any help for your OCD, like medication and/or therapy?

I am having those same sort of thoughts. It truly is horrible. I will be praying for you! Something i do when those thoughts come is listen to sermons. It helps clear my head because after awhile those thoughts make me very confused.
