  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Most of the outfits she puts on the site are from fashion shows, and are therefore made for editorial and not realistic everyday wear. I think her point is that at least some of these designers are putting things out there that aren't showing everything on a girl.

Whether those outfits are gaudy or not, I think it's good to see a desinger trend to cover more of the body and have less exposure. We men are truly the weaker sex when it comes to such things as sex drive and impurity in thought. It's much easier on me when modesty is expressed in fashion.

Karenmarie,
She put that skirt on her site so you can see where the eye goes when there is a slit in the skirt. In her book she talks about skirts like that being immodest. She reference a study where men talked about how jeans and slits in skirts lead their eyes up where they shouldn't be going.

I was watching Jay Leno last night, and one of his guests was Jennifer Love Hewitt. As she was coming out on the stage, I noticed her outfit, and admired that she wasn't sleazy looking, and at the same time, she looked beautiful. She is one actress that goes against the Hollywood grain, and dresses somewhat modestly. During the interview, she said something along the line of more clothing = more mystery = greater appeal, in her eyes.

I found her comment to be refreshing, and wish that some of the starlets that this generation's children look up to would hold the same values.
