As far as I recall Gentry's polonium halo material that is published dates to 40 years ago and in that work he didn't push his Creationist timescales. When he started on that his material appears only in Creationist circles that are not peer reviewed.

As a cosmologist if I could genuinely (not like Gentry's mixed up mathematically incorrect nonsense) overturn the Big Bang Theory based upon observational predictions BBT cannot match but my theory can - I would submit the papers tonight - and collect my Nobel Prize in a year or two.

So why don't I? Why has Gentry not got these published and lauded as the outstanding achievement of modern astrophysics?

I have tenure - most of my colleagues have so I cannot lose my job through some supposed conspiracy.

I will admit more academic scientists in physics/astronomy are agnostics or atheists than theists BUT there are still many who are theists - and yet there is almost unanimous consensus on these issues between us. How can incorrect rubbish overturn thousands of papers based upon literally thousands more of observations?

Also if I recall Gentry was told to submit his ten or so papers as one single paper BUT he refused because he wanted the notoriety of a conflict. He knew that would garner more status in the Creationist community than his papers disappearing into the trough of discarded nonsense they were bound to bring.

Have you read those papers????? Even forgetting the contents (abysmal I might add) they are terrible put together and repeat each other - they needed to be re-submitted in just one or two papers - which was offered to Gentry but he refused. As I said - he wanted a big stink and really wasn't that interested in the papers themselves being published.

By the way - notice he used arxiv which is not peer reviewed. Where are the actual journals this crap is in? WHERE????

How do you know the halos are perhaps created by radon and not polonium? The alpha decay energies are so close you cannot distinguish between the two. And since the halos in question are from what I understand always found along micro-cracks in the rock then it is more consistent they are from radon diffusing along these cracks. I haven't read on this for years to be honest - but then neither has Gentry it seems. Why has he gone quiet on this topic.

For dark matter, only on paper. The math is there but the substance doesn't exist. That's why it is still debated.

The reason it can't make it past the level of hypothesis is because stellar objects are not doing what is predicted by the laws of physics and astronomers cannot figure out why. Read my OP on Why stellar evolution is false. The spiral galaxies are spinning like gigantic LP records and the outside stars move with the inside stars as if there were spokes on the giant spiral wheel...which doesn't make sense.

The Law of Angular momentum is being broken by the spiral galaxies. Except for the very closest among them they should all have spun out and dissipated into non-existence as galaxies many ages ago. What they don't grasp is that this is all being done by the hand of Almighty God...on purpose;
