Whether an edict is or is not constitutional is neither here nor there. The question must primarily be is it ethical and does it serve the common good without favour, unless it is to bring balance in equality. As far as I can see both major parties both Democrat and Republican are immoral and are self serving and should be condemned from the rooftops of every Church, Synagogue, Mosque and Temple in the land.
Remember the Law is in your heart; Love God and love your neighbour as yourself; (your neighbour include your enemy) Jesus gave his life for all men of all faiths. God wants everyone in his Kingdom. So we are to live as if we are in that Kingdom now. Speak out against injustice and unjust wars and governments.

This is precisely the kind of situation for which emergency authority applies. I will admit that I've been surprised at the kind of orders our governor has been giving. But they've all been as narrowly tailored as possible to prevent a situation in which health care would be overwhelmed. I don't have any problem with it.

May i infer that you are in the camp that, at least in this case, government must be obeyed regardless if those orders violate the constitution? And that in disobeying government orders would be disobeying Gods will? That is what I am looking for opinions on.
If the laws that were passed by the US Congress and the individual states are violating the constitution then we have a problem but it doesn't appear as though they do.

Here is more of an explanation of the broader rights given to the President and Governors during a declared emergency.

It's the same in my state, he's been reluct to make too many mandates but he's had to as more cases erupted in our state.
