You are indeed quoting a few verses parrot fashion, and doing so out of context without understanding the true message of the Gospel.
Romans chapter 7 is a very illuminating chapter, but it is clear to me you do not understand it.
So then the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good. Verse12
God did not destroy that which is holy, righteous and good. To state he did simply shows a lack of understanding of God and the Gospel message

The above shows your lack of understanding. A christian is conscious of their sin. That DOES NOT mean they are trusting in works/ observing the law to attain heavenThe question could be rephrased to, "Do you love Jesus only by trusting that His works can keep you remain saved or love human works by trusting in it to save in addition to His works?".
Talking about doing human good works unashamedly & openly only shows that the greatness & the absolute of the works of Jesus is not clearly understood.

Christians know they must focus on Jesus, for they are acutely aware of their shoetcomings/sin.We are not saved by our humility but Jesus' humility till his death.
