I thought we weren't suppose to debate which candidate we liked the best in the support thread? I might have to narc you out to a moderator, but no hard feelings, I mean no ill will by doing so, I just try to keep within the rules of the forum.
Well, Einstein, at the end of your post it said something about praying no more Democrats get into office in Washington - or to that effect, right? Doesn't sound like support to me. Since being a Christian and a Democrat these days is like being a deer in the headlights, a thread that is for those who support Obama is a nice refuge. That's all.I did not know my post was a debate I thought it was info on Obamas party. oops.
Tell them I would delete it but I don't know how.
I guess I could edit out the text. Oh well we will have to see what they say.
God bless you

Go Barack Obama!
It is time for a change, it is time to let the democrats come into office and something about our country, we need a bipartisian effort, a uniter to come into the white house and pull both parties behind a common theme. Barack Obama, is like the second coming of Christ, were America will become like a city on the hill for all the world to see, and respect and love. With republicans for america, and democrats for america.
Go Barack Obama!
To be honest, I'm a little bit concerned. What do you all make of the new numbers that show Obama ahead by 3 points, but statistically a dead heat?

Well, many of her supporters feel that she's been snubbed and that's what I worry about. Maybe she wouldn't want the job, but she wasn't fully vetted by the Obama campaign and people feel that she should've been involved in the selection process. Now it appears that her supporters are going to be denied the full roll call vote to which they feel entitled--and Bill doesn't seem to be totally on board.I don't know that I'd call it a "snub". Truly I can't imagine Sen. Clinton even wanting the Veep spot. It's a notoriously frustrating job
I've been watching the convention, and was particularly impressed with Hillary's speech last night. I think the disenchanted will come around by November. The specter of another Republican administration is just too horrible.

That was an amazing speech. That is what we need in a president, someone who is strong and thoughtful. Someone that seeks to uplift us and not pull us down with negative campaigns of personal attacks. Obama/Biden '08!
I like the paraphrased the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting diffrent results. That was an amazing speech. That is what we need in a president, someone who is strong and thoughtful. Someone that seeks to uplift us and not pull us down with negative campaigns of personal attacks. Obama/Biden '08!
Yes, I agree. Obama is inspiring AND inspired. The last president of his likes was John Kennedy. Not to mention, A Giant step in American history has been taken. That was an amazing speech. That is what we need in a president, someone who is strong and thoughtful. Someone that seeks to uplift us and not pull us down with negative campaigns of personal attacks. Obama/Biden '08!
