There's too much reason in this post. I think it should be deleted. ^_^ <--- sarcasm to the extreme
Lol, IisJustMe.:D I am not writing anything that everybody has not already seen, and that everybody does not already know. This is not history after all, but current events. I doubt that anyone will even try to argue against this, because it is just saying that 2+2=4.

But Obama hasn't lost too much support in spite of what everybody already knows. Republicans, maybe, will be more inclined now to actually get out and vote against him. On the other hand, OHB has lost no momentum at all among committed Democrats, and his support among independants remains strong too, althoug Mcain's number here too are not too shabby.
At least it is not so much of a slam-dunk anymore. The controvery at least had that much of an effect.

For Whites, voting Obama still offers a chance of redemption for the sins of racism, and for Blacks, it is a matter of Black Pride.
That is all understandable especially for Democrats, one supposes, and maybe not all bad either-although God help the person (Geraldine Ferraro, perhaps?) who actually mentions such things.

In the long run though, America's willingness to tolerate the racism of blacks is likely not a very good idea either. There are proably a thousand and one reason why not.

My reason for voting against Obama?

He voted against the Partial Birth Abortion Ban.

And if anyone is wondering...Obama essentially voted that it was OKAY for women in the third trimester to have abortions. Technically, that is still legal. The ban on Partial Birth abortions was to prevent the favored method which consists of partially delivering the baby, forcibly turning the baby so that it is delivered feet first, and then a sharp instrument like a pair of scissors is jabbed at the base of the neck and the spinal cord is severed. A nurse on either side holds the baby still because it is kicking its legs making the process more difficult. The reason the baby has to be turned face down inside the womb, partially delivered feet first, is because if the baby takes a breath, it is considered alive and having rights.

Obama is okay with this. I am not okay with Obama.

Are there actually doctors who have kids of their own who do this? How pathetic is that?

Perhaps, but I do not call abortionists doctors. I call them those who murder the unborn.

BTW, my info was wrong. Obama did not vote AGAINST Partial Birth Abortions. He dodged the vote and when his name was called, he said, "Present" instead of Yay or Nay. It is the same difference as voting Nay, and is a common tactic when someone does not want to alienate voters. According to NOW and other women's groups, however, he has voted NAY on other versions of the bill. He is definitely considered a Pro-Choice candidate, and if you view his website, he does not even consider abortion an issue important enough to speak on. He has everything from economics to the war on there, but nothing on abortion.
