Like it or not, liberalism in todays politics equates to Socialism / Communism and Rush Limbaugh along with his "ilk" (of which I am proud to be a part) are against those evils.

Rush does not have a drug problem any more then Paul had a Christian problem subsequent to his name change.

I still think there are others who are better speakers, less inflammatory, and have less bagage than Rush. You can get your point across without being offensive. Dignity, and a soft word can win over more than the overblown blubbering of Rush. And while he may be a recovering addict, he was an addict. Whether he is truly recovered is between him and God.

For the sake of time i'll just use the NASB for Romans 13:1-3, "1Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. 3For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;"

I do believe we should voice our views, but we shouldn't rebel against the authority unless it comprimises our faith, beliefs, convinctions and religion. Which are all one in the same. But as far as I can see the trigger [Obama] hasn't been pulled yet. So... we should still pray for His soul regardless of the evil the Devil is about to release on us. We shouldn't hate the person, but rather the sin, and the devil.

So the Allies had no business shutting down Hilter? Hilter's regime was God's will?

As the "drive by media" has more then established, there are NONE who have the ability to tell it like it better then Rush.

Censorship legislation has been a goal of numerous politicians for years now. The efforts are bipartisan (or multi-partisan) and must be explained in this manner. Care should be taken not to present this as simply an Obama administration issue but rather a persisting issue. It is true, however, that this upcoming legislation is a huge problem.

It is also important to understand that the U.S. is reaping the hatred that it has sown for years. People should speak out against the attack on First Amendment rights but also understand how and why these issues have arisen. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was not devious, as it strove to recognize the rights of those previously denied rights. This nation would have continued many of its backwards practices on a large scale without it. The result of the transgressions of the past are significantly responsible for the challenges to our freedoms today. That is an unfortunate reality.

Agreed. Someone else would likely be more effective as Limbaugh's ignorance undermines his credibility with far too many.
