You need to see Obama 2016, Lori. It will make you glad you didn't vote for him, and even sorrier that he was re-elected. But who knows - Romney might have been even worse. God is in control, and He knows the end from the beginning - His plan and timing are perfectly trustworthy!

It is not Ahab (the state) we are warned against in the Scriptures but against the woman Jezebel (the church) who seeks to wield the power of the State to enforce her dogmas.

It is not Obama (the state power) who is to be feared but the religious leaders who might influence Obama (representing the state) to enforce the dogmas of the church in the US and thus make an image to the papal power. Example: enforcing Sunday worship in order to appease God as populous cities shall be reduced to ruin and desolation as Satan shall bring disease and disaster upon them... As we all know, these calamities are happening as we speak.

It won't be long before Jezebel shall influence the state (it does not matter who the president is) to enforce her decrees and to sustain her institutions.

When Sunday, a spurious sabbath, shall be enforced upon all in the US first, and then to all the countries on the globe, the law of God will, to all intents and purposes, be made void in the land and the sins of the church will have reached unto Heaven and then the message Babylon the great is fallen, come out of her My people, will be present truth.

Seems to me Obama would be the least likely man I could think of to force religious dogmas onto our country. I've certainly never heard him described as a religious zealot!

In light of prophecy, I am inclined to agree with honorthesabbath. It is unfair to say that she doesn't know what she's talking about. ObamaCare is dangerous, and is so much more than meets the eye. All roads DO indeed lead back to Rome. I don't believe President Obama is the Antichrist, but he sure has signed some executive orders that are setting the stage. Romney (and any other president) would do the same as they all have the same goal--TO KILL THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION! While we are fighting each other with the "them democrats" and "us republicans' attitudes, the powers that be are making changes to our constitution. We are losing freedoms constantly. Bush took some away "in order to protect the country from terrorists." Obama has signed the March 16, 2012 Executive Order-- "National Defense Resources Preparedness", which takes away our rights to our personal property (even ourselves!!!) in the event of a national crisis. Go read it for yourselves. We have to stay close to the Lord, pray unceasingly for the Latter Rain, and keep our eyes open for "present truth". The Lord is coming!

If you can't see the fulfillment of prophecy within the loss of our freedoms, then how do you believe that the US will, "speak as a dragon"? (Rev. 13:11,12) That Constitution will have to be made null and void. It will happen no matter who serves as president. It IS happening, and the Bible does say it will be so. I indeed hope Jesus comes soon, but the election of Mr. Obama is much less an indication of that happening soon than was, say, the election of Bush. Either George was a much more religious person in thinking and practice than Barack, and more likely to institute religious laws.
