Just want to know how many of us christians are watching for christ return through current events, especially with our new president, and the important role he is playing in the bringing in of The New Word Order (One World Antichrist government system), and do you believe he's an important enough player to actually having being mentioned somehow in bible prophesy? I was watching a video by David Icke, and he said something interesting about an agenda that has been going on for so long, that the people involved with it would never live to see it, yet it dosn't matter who you vote for, or what anyone does, the agenda goes forward. He thought there must be something behind it that we arn't aware of, pushing it throughout the centuries.
Obama is only a small fish. In my opinion he is 'the good cop'.

Look at the back of your $1 bill. It says "Novo Ordo Seculorum" which is Latin for "A New Order For the Ages" or "A New World Order".

Many Christians do not believe the LaHaye and Jenkins Apocrypha to the scriptures and recognize the assertion that the President and so forth are initiating events toward Hot Fudge Sunday" are primarily manipulation and fearmongering. President Obama is certainly no different from previous Presidents but hardly remarkable except in fantasy. He was the first Black President of the Harvard Law Review and as such he is a definable member of the American elite, but that hardly means much. We tend to not elect as our Presidents too many graduates of Puxatawney State.

Which is pretty dumb if one is a true Biblical literacist because the Son o' satan is supposed to be Jewish. Maybe if he was Sammy Davis Jr. or something.

I believe one kind way to characterize it is he is "intellectually incurious".

What is sad is people voting on the basis of "which candidate I'd rather have a beer with" than who's more up to the job. Gore and Kerry may have been prigs but more agreed with their policy positions than with GWB's.

Especially our new president? You need to read Pat Robertsons book "The New world order. In it, he claims BOTH parties are working towards it. BOTH parties only pretend to hate each other. He also asserts thatthe Bush family is very much into establishing this order. If one believes this, everything makes sense. Bush's real mission was to discredit the COnservative movement by playing the part of evil invader while crashing the economy. So, forget about only the Left being art of this and the right being some sort of savior. We are caught in a game of two card Monte.

Secondly, I don't believe in "News Paper Prophecy"

It is arrogant to believe that only the end times can bring down America.
This very well could be just one more "Birth Pang" among many more to come. It does not have to be the end time for America to be in trouble.

Havn't read the book, but may have to take a look at it, because Robertson is right. These groups go way back to Europe and are considered some of the oldest known exclusive "clubs" in the world. The US was founded by quite a few of their members so yes their plans have continued on through the generations. If you look at many of the world leaders and their lineage you can see the ruling families that have stayed in power for centuries.

I believe we are seeing the culmination of their elaborate plans at present. Now how GW fits in I have yet to figure out unless as was stated he merely duped the conservative crowd to dirty their reputation.

agreed. people were saying the same things about Bush and how "Babalon was being rebuilt" when Iraq was taken over and changed to a democracy. the truth is, we'll never really know. all we can do is watch, but we shouldn't speculate too much. every other year is a new sign of the apocolypse. but these "signs", whether they are the actual Biblical signs coming to pass or not, they all should just remind us of what our focus should be on, and cause us to live our life all the more according to God's will.

I was watching this guy on you-tube last night who had build a tractor to run on solar power, and was running a chain-saw off his solar powered golf cart, and a solar powered conversion of an MG car.
I thought that was really such a great thing to be doing, .. and many other people inventing alternative energy. I thought like this could be how things could have been, if ordinary people took control of their fate and got on with it, instead of all this corrupt government starting wars and pushing the oil economy for profit.
If more people in the US realised what a mess the left-right political were doing, and slung them out.. then the US doesn’t have to be on this road… there are enough people with the brains and ideas, like no other place. It’s just village idiots and crooks taking over the government and everything else with power.

Joe, in the U.S. we have a long history of paranoid stylings in American politics. As a matter of fact, the late conservative historian Richard Hofstader wrote a book about it called The Paranoid Style in American Politics.

That is what is so bizarre to me. The technology, ability and knowledge is there and we have this suppossed "green president" and we are still in predominately gasoline driven vehicles. And what is this wonder guy prepossing now? Taxing milage and gasoline in an economy gasping for breath and people loosing jobs by the thousands as big businesses close their doors daily

You can file that right next to the water powered car. Solar panels require a lot of area in order to produce that kind of energy. This is why real solar powered cars are not practical.

I was impressed by the solar powered golf-cart.. they replace the whole fleet of golf-carts after some years as the batteries conk out.. so they can be bought cheap and refurbished with a roof solar panel.
The cars are only now being developed that can compete with gasolene. The range needs to be up to 150 miles.. but prototypes are in development for the end of this year. But a lot of people need to park out in the street, so they cant charge up the batteries.. there'r so many cars that they dont have the room for them in garages any more.
There was another inventor who had discovered a method to reclaim the power on an ordinary lead-acid car battery by chemical/electrical means, I don’t know exactly how, as they didn’t say, but he was running a converted pick-up truck on lead acid batteries, for next to nothing.
