Oh how lovely!! I'm still nesting.
I had to re-paint a wardrobe, and still need to buy fabric for the curtains.

The only thing is, baby won't even be using the nursery for the first 3 months, we co-sleep. (Her in her cradle beside the bed) and after that we'll see how it goes. We may keep her with us longer...

I just started nesting a few days ago, tomorrow is uncluttering the girls' room. My MIL has been helping me with it, I am horrible about getting rid of things. Donated 6 trash bags and 3 boxes full of baby girl clothes and adult clothes.

Found out last night that my parents and siblings are coming here at the end of July. They live 900 miles away.

LOL! I also tend to "hold onto" things. Especially my books. As a Librarian I can't help that I have stacks upon stacks of books, but lately I've had this itch to go through every book on my shelf and donate everything I think I could get at the Library, or have no attachment to.
This is very uncharacteristic of me - I was the one that moved 7 boxes across Canada full of books I couldn't bear to be parted with!!

But still, I look at my bookshelf and want to empty it...hmm..we'll see if it happens I guess.

Yay for family coming down!! (I hope! ;) )
How long are they staying for? And are they staying with you??

I am going through a major house cleaning kick right now. MIL and I are renting a rug doctor this weekend and shampooing all the floors. So that means I have the master bedroom and living/dining room left to do tonight, tomorrow and Sat. We did get the girls' room cleaned out today, which is nice to have that done.

They are staying for two weeks, but not here, to small of a house and my hubby works nights.

hey!
its hard work isn't it! we are also clearing stuff out of our house. we have moved our living room into a different room and got rid of old furniture, a pile of stuff needs to go up to the roof space (we we hoard everything hubby won't throw out) and then i can get started on the baby room. i have bought some craft supplies i would like to decorate the baby room with, make my own pictures and things, but i don't know successful i will be with it! xx
