"And so it is in the body of Christ. For though we are many, we’ve all been mingled into one body in Christ. This means that we are all vitally joined to one another, with each contributing to the others." Rom 12:5

The tabernacle built by Moses and later the temple built by Solomon had 3 distinctive areas; i.e., the outer court, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies. Each area pointing to Jesus.
Agree, as in present-tense.

"And there are also many other things which Jesus did. If they should be all recorded one by one [in detail], I suppose that even the world itself could not contain (have room for) the books that would be written." John 21:25

"And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children." Matt 14

"Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias." Matt 17:4

Have any thoughs on why Peter said it was good for James, John and himself to be there while Jesus, Moses and Elias were on the mt of transfiguration?

Yes, as yet mere mortals not having recieved the Holy Spirit, I am compelled to think them being quite overwhelmed, forced to fall on their own carnal response-mechanism. For they did not prosper.
