I am not sure if I can even post here. I was not married, but engaged. Anyway...
I wound up pregnant. I was due on Valentines day. In november, 10 weeks before my due date...
I went in for an ultrasound. One of those 3-D ones. I was so very excited. I had a daughter from a previous marriage, and was now expecting a son. My fiance was so very excited, because he was not even supposed to be able to have children, and here we were, having a boy! A boy to carry on his family name (he was the fourth with that name). With my child on his lap, we watched as the ultrasound lady took measurements... for some reason, she did not proceed to the 3-d one, but went and got the doctor who then told me the words every woman dreads... "There is no heartbeat"
So on november 21st, 2005 at 6 in the morning. I gave birth to a two pound, 12 inch long baby boy. He was perfect. I have never forgiven myself for his death. I still feel to this day... that I did something wrong. You see, my placenta abrupted and he basically had no nutrients withinwhich to live.
*shrugs* That is my story.
