My husband and I have decided to not use the pill or condoms (at least for now, though I will never take the pill or use the patch). We are living with the belief that God will give us the amount of kids we can handle..
However, I really hate the idea of being pregnant all the time and apprehensive about being like the Duggars! As of now we have a 6 month old girl and another one on the way.
If I wasn't pregnant now, I'd at least try to learn natural prevention with the ovulation cycle method.

1. Is there anyone out there who also have these beliefs?

2. How do you deal with the idea of it?

3. Is there someone who knows what it's like to have a ton of kids and can say what it's like for them (while living a Godly life)?

We are anti-birth control (mostly because we're Catholic).

We have been married about 3 weeks shy of 2 years, and I have a 12 month old, and am 35 weeks pregnant.

We believe in NFP.... we just failed to practice it after I gave birth.

I recommend taking NFP classes. We've taken them since I've been pregnant, you just have to figure out the "hands on" stuff after you're not pregnant anymore. :)

My hubby and I have been married about 4.5 years now and we have 2 children (a DS 2.5 years a DD 15 months) and one on the way due in Feb. I won't use any type of hormonal birth control. It makes me crazy and I don't really agree with hormonal birth control. Not so much about family size but more because of the potential to keep a fertilized fetus from implanting (part of how birth control works is to prevent you from ovulating, but if that fails it also makes the lining of your uterus not a very hospitable place for a baby to implant).

We use both NFP and condoms, it's very effective when used properly (DD was our 'oops' when we got lazy about it lol but we wouldn't have it any other way now!).

It's actually really simple and has been in my case. My husband and i have been together three years and we have one child thats almost 2 and I just found out I'm pregnant. I just got a period tracker on my smartphone and didnt have sex when my fertile days were. It worked for me. I can help you if you want and if you have questions pm me :]
