Not up, DOWN!

My son has started to do the funniest thing. When I put my hair up he screams - "NO! Not up,DOWN!" Then he gets really upset if I don't stop, and put it back down. Poor kid gets no sympathy because we think it's so funny. So I'll put my hair up and down just to get a rise out of him! Then we'll tease him with his sister's hair when he's acting up and threaten to put everyone's hair up if he doesn't straighten out. It's so funny. But I have NO idea where this came from. What do you think? A little bit of male control?!

LOL Kat is possessive of hair too only not to my hair but her dad's facial hair She about flips if we even suggest that Daddy shave his beard off!

Kids just get use to you looking one way. My son's grandma always use to wear her hair in braids. Then she came over one time without the braids and my littliest one acted like he didn't know her and wouldn't go near her until she put her hair back up in braids. Then he smiled and ran to her like "There you are!"
