I'm saying this out of Christian love but I also think that you might have some other issues that you want to address before you think about getting into another affair. I think LiLamb has allreadyt hit on one and that is "self image" or "self worth". Depression can be a side effect of that.
Your lady friend might have picked up on that and made her indecisive.
