Vet, US Navy, Electrician by trade, became politically aware last year while stuck at home waiting for a hip replacement. Very patriotic. Dad WWII Vet. Brother Vietnam Vet. I have cried a river of tears since the loss of the election and the tragic (Pearl Harbor) inauguration of General Secretary Biden.
But as a Cristian, my job is not to judge but to pray for our country and bless all that God puts in my path. Especially the people that the world says I should hate (in this case the communist take over of my dear country or the immigrants that enter our country).
If your not praying to see Biden and Pelosi in Heaven, your not being a Christian. As an example: 20 years ago ( as a new born Christian age 44) I ask God what all these Spanish workers were doing in the United States taking US Citizen jobs? I guess God didn't like the tone of my question because He BOOMED at me and said "THEY ARE THERE BECAUSE I WANT THEM THERE"! I said ok, ok you don't have to take my head off about it, what do you want me to do? God said "I WANT YOU TO TELL THEM ABOUT MY SON"!
So today, don't ask God WHY (your not smart enough to understand the answer I don't care how many college degrees you have), ask Him WHAT He wants you to do and do it. Speak only what the Holy Spirit tells you to speak. I know, my joke on Biden is bad, but God loves laughter too.

JS: are you saying whether its broken up or mushed together its still readable? Perhaps if we do the work to make it that way. But studies show breaking things into paragraphs and following grammar rules does assist people in reading what you wrote or ignoring this will cause them to pass what you wrote by.

When you use the word prayerful fine but let's make sure everyone is REALLY praying and not just people using it as a cute slogan or word to give the impression they really did pray when they didn't.

And also keep in mind the majority of God's people in the wilderness wanted to stone two leaders out of 12 who spied out the land. Num 13 Caleb and Joshua were right....the other 10 were not but sadly the people sided in with the majority report. God defined their report was evil regardless of how reasonable it seemed. As you said be prayerful....which means not going with everything that one's natural mind says. Again make sure prayerful really means PRAYER.

I absolutely agree. Nothing upsets me more after all too frequent mass shootings and school shootings than to hear all the talk about "thoughts and prayers" when what is needed is decisive action.
It is very close to sacrilege.
