Not greatful enough

How can I be more grateful, I pray everyday and I try to show GOD that I am grateful for everything in my life and that I am happy however I see so much pain in the world, I see people that have no sight, no arms, can't run or walk, missing body parts, and so much more and yet I am here complete.

Why is it me? and it bothers me most of the time because I feel I have so much and some have so little.

Try something practical. If you are hurt by the pain and suffering you find in the world today, then try to change the pain and suffering to joy and happiness.

You may not be able to cause a wave, but you can throw a rock in the stream that will cause a ripple in the water.

You say above you try to show God you are grateful. Perhaps examine that.

Pray for those with the above mentioned disabilities. I guess those with limitations in this life are the more blessed eternally. Read the beatitudes (Matthew 5 and Luke 6:20-26 Blessings and Woes).

It seems that you are already grateful enough. I believe that you are either grateful or not and you do not need to show God because He already knows if you are grateful. You are happy, you have so much but you have this burden. So, try sharing what you have, your time, your energy while you can do it. Sometimes God allows our circumstances to reverse and there your gratefulness will be tested. Just like what people said here, give back, volunteer, pray for others but at the same time deepen your knowledge of God’s Word. You might also want to discuss your feelings with a pastor from a nearby church.

What can you give to those people, or even just one of them?

For instance, take believers in persecuted countries. You do not have enough sway to stop what is being done to them, practically speaking. But you can pray for them to help them out, and be on the lookout for opportunities to help them.

Just be grateful for what you have every day,be grateful for the life you have,for your family,that's all you really can do.
