  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm about 8 weeks pregnant and I don't feel good.. :( I saw my doctor yesterday and did blood work.. had an ultrasound.. pelvic exam.. everything I guess.. and everything came back normal and everything looked great. I even said my hearts been beating a little fast so he checked out my heart and I had an EKG? Guess it was heart palpitations from stress but I shouldn't worry at all he said I'm healthy and fine. But I'm so tired  Today when I went to pick up my son I felt dizzy and was REALLY sleepy! Is this normal?? I don't remember feeling this way with my first at all. I had so much energy and this just seems so different. I've also been feeling nauseated which I know is normal but it comes and goes throughout the day. All I wanna do is mess around on the computer, eat, sleep and thats about it!

I have no ounce of energy.. and that's not me!!!

Don't fret, it's all completely normal. I was exhausted and dizzy with both Isabel and this one (although this one is making me a bit more dizzy, but with a lot less vomiting, so I guess that's a fair trade off :) ). I was probably sleeping for ten-twelve hours a day last time, I was just so drained of energy. It's been a bit harder to do that this time around since I have a toddler who won't let me nap *sob*. At one stage with my last preganancy I also had heart palpatations.

I think most ladies on this board will tell you that their pregnancies differed. So relax, and try not to stress :)

God Bless.

*lol* you sound pregnant to me! Normally this stuff lets up around 13-14 weeks into your pregnancy.

After 6 babies- there is one thing that is certain--every pregnancy and birth is totally unique! Just because rhings are one way for one baby is no indication at all of how they will be for the next one!

Hang in there- it should let up soon!

It sound pretty normal to me. My first pregnancy was a breeze. The second I was able to work. With this pregnancy, I'm so tired and hungryfor weird stuff like crushed pineapple and raison bran cereal all day. If I could I would probably be eating cereal all day.
I think you are fine, like everyone said it will pass., :)

I am feeling the same way this time, I can't get enough sleep. I am not feeling I am prodcutive other than putting in a load of lundry, drying, and putting away. :D For me it seems with each pregancy, my symptoms get worse.

Congrats to you all ! :)

I think youre having a baby girl this time:) Sometimes it's like that. If it's a boy you feel strong.

I don't know if you're being serious or not, but just in case, that whole feeling weak it's a girl, feeling strong it's a boy is not actually true.

With both of my previous pregnancies I never felt dizzy. My second pregnancy I felt tired but not enough to where I couldn't work.
With this pregnancy I'm a SAHM with a 19 month old. I have been through dizzy spells and at times very tired where I feel as though I didn't sleep the night before. My nausea in the past 2 weeks has been so bad, I'm not throwing anything up. But I will get nauseous if I think about food or if I even smell food. We went to a restaurant all I smelt was the food around me I wanted so bad to throw up but i just walked out.
So yes, I agree with everyone else. You are pregnant.
