I don't have any suggestions about what to do about the clear-cutting, but do other people in your area feel the same way? If so, try a petition... that's the only thing I can think of right now.

In Ontario (and the rest of Canada), they have a tv network called "Much (Music)" they have some contests. Some of the contests are for people to send in some good idea/way to stop logging/clear-cutting in Ontario. The best ideas would win money or something. It is a pretty good idea to get teens involved.

ahhhhhhhhhhh much music!!!!i love that tv chan! i havent heard about the contest to stop clear cutting the forest though.

i tryed the petition...we sent a petition paper to every house in my town..seems like there are alot of people who want this to stop.

ok and i little bite more of a update...they have started to build this "very much needed high-way" and have cutt down alot of tre's to clear the path for the new roads!it is truly sad to see such a wonderfull forest go down to the ground!
