AngelAmidata, yes, Augustine is St. Augustine. Here's a neat site - the list of saints and their feast days. Not all the saints are listed, just those with current feast days.

I noticed that not all are listed. St. Thomas More isn't listed, and as an attorney, I was glad that he replaced Satan as the Patron Saint of lawyers. Though some people still don't know that.

Let's be careful about painting Protestants with a broad brush. We have some very nice Protestant folks who visit this board by either posting or lurking. We don't want to stoop the extreme level and turn someone off.

We need to continue to be generous and charitable to everyone who visits our corner. There are some folks who are genuinely interested in the Catholic faith - maybe they don't plan to convert, but they're giving you a chance to share your wealth of knowledge with them.

Yes, he is. Someitmes I don't use the term "Saint" though. Just depends on how fast I'm typing.

It would be nice if this forum could be conducted without hackles being raised. I know of at least 3 Prostestants who converted to Catholicism, and they still have my respect. I am in no danger of following suit :lol: but would like to carry on a constructive dialog.
