  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So I've been looking back over the year. The job change. Search for truth. My failures with improving my health. Relationship judgement failures.

What stands out to me is two particular events that were definitely a coincidence.

The first was when I became interested in a nature based religion which I won't name for fear of being flamed. I was talking to my friend on fb at the time and said I wasn't going to church or calling myself a Christian. The mist that i told him was that I thought Buddha was a pretty cool guy.
A week later he told me that he had prayed for God to give him the words to talk to me about it and at church that week he heard a verse that was intended for him to share with me. He told me what it was and I imediately rejected it.

The verse spoke about how we should not trust or worship the elements. Thinking about it now...that was a pretty epic moment, considering I had not mentioned the elements and my practices as the time.

The second event came after I had been seeing a psychologist to sort out some of my demons and how they were affecting me. After my 8th session on a Saturday I had a JW knock on my door and read me some verses from psalms.

The verses said we will look for the devil/demons but we will not find them...and there will be peace. I knew that God was speaking to me through that woman.

Epic wow moments
