  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh my goodness, you're Einstein!

I see my sister about 4 times a week now. I see my brother about once every 4 or so years. Usually by accident. (his choice, not mine. ) I haven't seen my 4 step brothers since my step dad died. (they were children then) Except for one, once many years ago.

Do you know how to make a good cheesecake?

Probably my Aunt Beverly.
She's single, lives far away from us now, but is so faithful about emailing me and keeping up our close relationship even though she's moved away. That would give us an awesome memory.
(And she's one of the few people my folks would let me go on a trip like that with besides them. )


Do you listen to music while you're online?

I don't listen to much secular music. We've got a really great Contemporary Christian radio station near us, and I listen to that all the time, and so those are the songs and artists I know and like and want on my iPod, etc..... Most of my friends prefer CCM, too, so I really only listen to secular stuff when I'm at the ski area.


What color is your couch?
