I'm married with 4 kids. So, I don't have that luxury now. Maybe when they're all grown up and moved out on their own. I hear though, that when you get older, sleep is even more elusive. So... it's fine. I don't really like the idea of sleeping my life away, anyway.

Do you ever react in the flesh? (which if you're not up on christian-ease lingo means to react in a way that is in opposition to the principles explained in the Bible)

Oh unfortunately yes, sometimes I overreact and get upset instead of patiently discussing an issue. Spending time in prayer should be my first reaction.

Have you ever spread gossip or shared a secret that someone told you?

Yes. I'm ashamed to say. But, I don't get pleasure out of it. In fact, every time I've ever done it, it's made me so filled with a sense of remorse and shame that I actually can't sleep at night. (did you know abstaining from gossip gives you the opposite? ... a kind of joy akin to a sugar rush? I kid you not. )

Do you accept that not only does God love you unconditionally, he loves those you do not, in the same way?

I accept it, but it's not easy.

Do you ever get frustrated with people at your church who don't care about the same ministries that you see as important ministries?

yes...but frustration is a low form of anger...so I give it to God and ask for more patience and for Him to fill these holes in ministry with the right people.

Do you pray for your enemies?

No, but I need to start doing that today.

Do you find that people come to you for spiritual counsel?

yeah just when I think I don't know anything.

No I listen and forget.

Do mothers ever get any rest?

Mainly after the kids are in bed at night. And sometimes when the father is home.
