CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No, but my husband does. If I'm on the computer, I just half-listen to it. If I'm doing dishes, I can't hear it out in the kitchen.

I wish...but we don't get them too often in this part of my state. Boy, I really love snow. I grew up in the north part of the country and I miss it so much.

Sometimes.
I'm not a fan of slapstick and physical comedy but I really like witty humor and satire. (As long as it's not mean/hateful.)
(Snowball fights are the LEAST of my 'problems' with my Dad. He's got an overactive sense of humor.)

I feel that I'm a leader, so organizing things. I'm not always comfortable with it, but I feel that it is right. I'm not afraid to "break the mold" and try to do something in a new or different way. But it is a little scary at the same time; and exhilirating.

I suppose it depends on the family and how they explain things.
But that's why my mom and dad told me from the beginning that Santa was "fun - like a cartoon" but not real.
