  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm working on my first book--nonfiction. :)

I hope to have it done sometime this year. I'm starting the social media promo of it in July.

It's about.....well......life with my dad. :D

In short, he's a criminal. He's done several years of federal time already. Also, he was involved in high level organized crime and led a double life for about 30 years.
Being his daughter has been....EVENTFUL. I'm ready to tell the story and it's worth telling.

I can only write non-fiction I guess.

Published my first non-fiction 2 years back in 2013, but last year I rewrote it again, and posted it on Createspace and Amazon "Understanding Prayer, Faith and God's Will" SECOND edition (2014).

Sounds interesting. Wish you success. Do share the title when it is done. You can write and self publish on Createspace which I have done. (I mean Creatspace or Kindle are some options, there are others too)

I have two published nonfiction books, Hezekiah Rasco: Child of Woe - Man of Sorrow, and Where In The World Is Arkoe Missouri?

The first is the story of a young Missouri farm boy turned murderer, and the second is the history of the small town where I know live and that he lived near at the time of his first crime.

I've been studying creative non-fiction writing in school; it can be such a fun genre. Mostly I've been writing personal essays and short memoirs, though I've dabbled in immersive journalism and profile writing (fun, but hard when you're super shy).

What I love about non-fiction is that you can get away with saying weirder things sometimes. Reality is stranger than fiction, after all, and people are sometimes more willing to accept, for example, out-of-the-blue, seemingly irrelevant dialogue in a non-fiction piece than in a fiction piece. Makes for more vibrant characterization.
