The Catholic Church didn't write the Bible if that's what you are implying. Regarding the canon of the Bible, I'm fully aware of how it was compiled, but my point still remains that Catholics use sources outside of that canon; so why is the canon not sufficient? Again, in debating 101, you cannot use a reference from "authority" not accepted by the other party, because it has no basis in accepted use. This is the main reason, at least for me, that extra biblical sources aren't relevant.

You know Major1, I am not sure if you see how big the foot you keep putting in your mouth, or the grave you keep digging for yourself. but man, as a friend, I gotta tell ya, you might want to take a step back, take a deep breath, and take a good long look at how, and why you "really" started this thread.
