If you truly think that this is something the theory of evolution predicts then you have no idea what you're arguing against. They say living in Australia changed the animals into marsupials. Gee. I was thinking of moving to Australia. Now I'm not sure.
The Tasmanian Tiger is not a dog (it's not even in the same family, Canidae, as dogs)Apparently there are marsupial mice and marsupial dogs (Tasmanian Tiger) and marsupial cats (Tiger quoll; though the cat doesn't look like a cat to me.)
Do you truly believe the only valid observations are personal and direct? Is that based on your observation?
Biology can take a hike.
Aw shucks, you guessed! If you truly think that this is something the theory of evolution predicts then you have no idea what you're arguing against.
Australia and Guam have quite different levels of biodiversity due to their sizes and locations.Cute.
I am pretty sure the army requires a full field pack forced march of 15 miles in basic. Do you think you can keep up? Would you be out front or falling behind the pack. They do not play games because your life could depend on your physical fitness. You can take a hike.

Ok, thanks. I was reading some of Av1611 posts. I will try to be more careful to keep current. The person you replied to hasn't been here for almost six years. This topic hasn't been watched for almost 11 years.

No worries. AV1611 is still around and more than likely will respond.
The issue is that you are comfortable with accepting a continuous string of miracles necessary for the Flood narrative to be literally true.I would say Post 7 nails this thread.
The issue is that you are comfortable with accepting a continuous string of miracles necessary for the Flood narrative to be literally true.
Many other Creationists claim that they have scientific evidence that supports the Flood...
... and that is demonstrably false.
If God could do it in Genesis 1, He can most certainly do it again in Genesis 8.
God is in the miracle-working business.
Perhaps they are desperate to placate academia?
That may be so, but keep in mind that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
Academia and unbelievers aren't the target... it's primarily people who won't look up ...
That's the problem.
Ecclesiastes 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
People look at everything "under the sun," then end up vexed when someone brings up a miracle.
If the answer to "Scientific evidence indicates..." was "It's not really relevant, my faith shows me..."
Yes, I agree. It's honest, however if it's also inappropriate if inserted into a conversation about what the scientific evidence actually indicates. What should we say when someone says, "Scientific evidence indicates [event] didn't happen as documented in the Bible"?
Personally I think "God did it" and "Science can take a hike" are [or should be] viable memes.
You may agree with the stated conclusions of a Creation Scientist... but their claims about research are irrelevant to your belief and process.
