No SRV?

A blues forum on a message board that doesn't have Stevie Ray Vaughan? There's gotta be some Stevie fans around.

It's too bad that it appears he turned to Christ at the end and the end came too soon.

It's also too bad that in a world of a thousand SRV wanna be's that I have yet to find a Christian who plays in the SRV style.

Big SRV fan here.....used to see him play all the time in Austin back when he was first getting started....he even came to my house once when I was having a party....I put on a blues collection record that I had and he talked about Robert Johnson...

Too cool. I'm not as big of a fan as I used to be (got burned out on texas blues), but still have huge respect for him. I'm hoping he will be at the big guitar jam in Heaven.

Man, SRV is awesome! My dad's a blues fan, and I was turned onto SRV in about the 5th grade or so...Pride and Joy, and who can forget "Mary Had a Little Lamb"?! We bought my dad the SRV boxed set with the DVD for Christmas. Rockin' stuff!

I agree...some christian artist needs to do some christian music in SRV style...I'd be their no. 1 fan!

SRV is amazong, definitely one of my favorite guitarists. I need to get back to listening to more of him, I haven't lately.
