L
There is no old covenant anymore.
IT IS GONE.
No one...NO ONE living on EARTH
is under the Law of Moses.
NO ONE...NO ONE
living on Earth right now
Has a covenant with God except the those who are
born again by His Spirit.
THE OLD COVENANT IS GONE.
REPLACED BY THE COVENANT OF THE SPIRIT.
That Jesus brought to his own and testified and
sanctified
by his death and resurrection.
THERE IS 1 COMMANDMENT.
1
ONE
YOU HAVE TO FULFILL.
IF YOU DO NOT
YOU ARE GOING INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
with all thy mind
with all thy soul
and with all thy strength.
This is the mark of the children of God.
God is the God of
EVERYONE ON ALL THE EARTH.
God is the God of
EVERY NATION ON ALL OF EARTH.
There is no difference between a christian or a Jew or a atheist or satanist or priest or whatever
unless
THEY ARE BORN AGAIN BY WATER AND SPIRIT.
Romans 13:8-11(NKJV)
8Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
9For the commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet, and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
10Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
11And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
1 Corinthians 7:19(NKJV)
19Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.
Luke 18:20(NKJV)
20You know the commandments...
you do know the commandments, don't you?
I know that if you do not obey this one
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
with all thy mind
with all thy soul
and with all thy strength.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS IN VAIN.
You can love your neighbor and not
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
with all thy mind
with all thy soul
and with all thy strength.
You can love one another and not
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
with all thy mind
with all thy soul
and with all thy strength.
You can keep the Sabbath
and not
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
with all thy mind
with all thy soul
and with all thy strength.
You can go to church and not
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
with all thy mind
with all thy soul
and with all thy strength.
You can say this to me

If you obey this 1 commandment...then everything else you do will be acceptable to God. you will fulfill it ALL.
Is this true?
do you understand why i quoted rom 13? it addresses what you said!
What part and how does it address what I said..point it out to me.
Highlight the part...then give your proof how it addresses what you highlighted.
it's in rom 13:9, the part that says "you shall love your neighbor as yourself"!
look at this exchange Jesus had with one of the scribes:
Mark 12:28-31(NKJV)
28Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?”
29Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
30And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
31And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
the ten are summed up by these two!
the first four of the commandments show love toward God, and the other six show love toward our fellow man, or neighbor!
now, in rom 13:9, paul says "they are all summed up", but notice which ones he cited to say the last part of that verse!
and, 1cor 7:19 underscores all of that!
I do not love myself.
How can you love yourself if you love God with all your heart.
Tell me.
If ALL your heart belongs to God.
How can you have any part of it?
To love yourself?
Tell me.
love yourself?
where did that come from?
the scripture talks about a "selfless" love!
love toward God and neighbor!
how do you get love of "self" from that?
How much do you love your neighbor?
Tell me.
when you love God with all your heart, that in turn will extend to your neighbor in like manner, correct?
Now tell me...can you love your neighbor and not love the Lord thy God with all thy heart?
yes or no?
no, because the two go hand-in-hand, as i've already pointed out!
remember, it's spelled out in the ten commandments!
You haven't done anything. Except prove me to be correct.
well, it was fun for me!
and i'm glad to be of service!
You have a good attitude. I like that about you. I can see that about you. Have you been that way all your life?
That is an awesome blessing of the Lord you got.
i've not always been this way, i prayed for it.
had to after my divorce, my attitude was headed for, you know.
