Faith in God is not so hard, it not about supernatural things but is about spiritual things, its about using faith to follow the commands of the apostles. God reveals himself to us as we use our faith to follow Christ. The Lord asks that we live in holiness which is love for Him, and he asks that we love each other too, that's all he really asks of us. The bible teaches us to sow to the Spirit. Sowing is symbolic language that represent how we work within our spiritual life. Maybe you already know these things, i would like to encourage you to seek the Kingdom, that's where we find purpose and meaning in our life. That's what God asks of us and its He who gives us Happiness and purpose.

If Jesus was not the Son of God then I have no reason to put his morality above any other human philosopher. It's not like the Christian religion is easy with its demands for humans to behave in a meek and slavish attitude, allowing themselves to be victimized by people with more power. If Jesus is not the Son of God then why would I ever make myself suffer by trying to follow his commandments? I'd much rather just do what I feel is right at any given moment in time, completely arbitrary and unfeeling to my fellow man. However because I was raised Catholic I can't sever the tie that makes me believe Jesus was the Son of God, but nothing in life seems to confirm that for me either!

I'm glad to know others understand this misery, to be told God is watching over you with Love only to experience nothing but superficial happiness mixed with deep seated hatred and despair.

I understand Lamentations as well, chapter 3 has helped me get through some tough times in my life, and it still helps me.



Lamentations 3:22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!”
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the soul who seeks Him.
26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
For the salvation of the Lord.
