No difference? Lets look and see?

A popular slogan says, "the ground is level at the foot of the cross." This is a catchy way of saying what Paul proclaims in Romans 10:12,"For there is no difference between the Hew and Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him." What a blessing that all can come to Christ in simple faith regardless of national or racial origin!

But there are many who do not realize that things were not always this way.

When God called Abram out of Ur of the Chaldees to become the father of His chosen people, Israel, He made a great difference between Jew and Gentile. This distinction is illustrated in Exodus 11:7, "But against any of the children of Israel shall not a god move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel."

When the Lord does something, He is very thorough! He maintained the distinction between Israel and the Egyptians right down to keeping the dogs from barking at the Jews or their animals. This difference was maintained all the way through Israel's history, including the tine of Christ and His apostles.

When speaking to the woman at the well, the Lord affirmed that" salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22). When sending out the Twelve Apostles, Christ "commanded them saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (Matthew 10:5-6).

With the raising up of the Apostle Paul, however, God erased these distinctions and how offers salvation to all on the same basis: faith in the3 death, burial and resurrection of Christ (I Corinthians 15:1-4).

Do YOU know what program God is in today? If not, then why not? Something changed...Paul preaches a NEW gospel, one that was HID IN GOD and KEPT SECRET since the world began. DO YOU KNOW what that secret IS?

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

Things were always this way, and they have always applied to close every mouth and make the whole world accountable to God.

And your point is???????? If you had one, I didnt get it. Paul quoted OT scriptures alot, but in context is where you will find WHY he did it. The program he brings to we the Body of Christ is not the same as that preached by Peter and the boys and Christ while on earth.

I agree with your scriptures...NO one will be justified by the works of the law...as they were in times PAST...under the law of Moses. Obviously, something CHANGED!

The issue of the original post was....lets look at the differences between Israels program and ours.

There WAS a distinct distinction between ISRAEL and the other nations. It was always that way....UNTIL PAUL.

Then all the distinctions were ERASED!!! WHY? Because Paul was given NEW information, for a NEW CREATION (which WAS the formation of the Body of Christ) for a BRAND NEW PROGRAM of the dispensation of the GRACE of God , or the GOSPEL of Christ...phrases used ONLY by Paul in his epistles.

Well, at least we won't to worry about the Wrath of God for following the Law of Mose.

A quick look at the fork shows this happened in all tines. But then, I wouldn't subdivide the tines so much as to consider them separate forks.

He quoted Scripture because it's what God said. He didn't quote randomly, and he didn't come up with something new. Jesus Christ was the same Savior to Paul as to Peter.

Clearly that didn't change, because the Law is what is declaring to many different groups in the past that no one was ever justified by the Law. "For by faith men of old gained approval." (Heb 11:2, cf. Heb 11)

Youve the traditional denominational "party line answer" for everything dontcha? Too bad you dont simply READ and believe the Word rightly divided. Instead you homogenize both gospels into ONE BIG mix and thus nullify the Cross.
