It is always a bit odd when nonbelievers come to a Christian web site and are offended when they encounter Christianity. As challenging as some of them may be, I am glad they are allowed to participate here. Hopefully some seed falls on the fertile soil.

I have no problem with people talking about their specific Christian beliefs. I do have a problem, when preaching is the sole discussion, in one of the forums dedicated to science.

If someone does not want to support claims with some form of scientific evidence, in the science forum, they should stay away.

As for "appealing to credentials", they are just a few examples. On the one hand we've got everyone involved with science and every scientific institute/centre in the world saying that they don't deal with proof, that theories are never proven, and one the other hand we've got a laymen on the internet insisting the opposite. Get real.

Like I told someone else, if that's the way you feel, you should have been ignoring me all along, yet you knew my credentials were not as those you listed, you engaged still, and now you blame it on me. you wasted my time and yours.
