It is a good, easy to read translation.

It's fine. No bible translation is perfect. They are all translations made by imperfect humans. However, that doesn't mean they are all equal. The NKJV is among the top 5 of the popular english versions IMHO

It is not a bad translation, and a lot easier to read than KJV.

My Greek professor in Seminary (20+ years ago) was one of the translators of the NKJV, so it reminds me of him.

I consider it to be of the quality of the NAS, sometimes better in the OT.

But when it comes to translations, I never hesitate to recommend NAS95 and NKJV (and for the most part ESV).

I enjoy the NKJV very much. It's my favorite version and the one that I use to study and memorize scripture verses from. I also prefer it because it is a modern English translation based on the Majority Text.

I don't like it as much as the KJV, that's why I hardly use it.

I bought the NKJV about a year ago, when I decided I wasn't that fond of the NIV. Personal preference I'm sure, the NIV seems to be the most popular but I just didn't care for it. I like the NKJV, very easy to read, but I've just picked up the NASB and I think I may like it even better. I've just started reading it though. It doesn't have ANY notes though, something I'm not used to, but the NKJV I have is a Nelson Study Bible, so that helps. Though I'm not sure I agree with some of the notes....

The NKJV is a fine, solid translation.

It does have the benefit of including textual notes for just about every variant reading. A useful resource to be sure......

I like it the best of them all, it's a good translation but is easier to read than the KJV. It doesn't oversimplify but it isn't as hard to follow as KJV due to the age of the translation.
