I watched the last season recently and I enjoyed the last two seasons more, altho I didn't watch all the episodes.

The first two seasons there was quite a lot of explicit stuff, especially in the sex department, later on they focussed a bit more on deeper character developement.

And yes there were plenty of lighter moments to make up for the hardcore stuff, in a way.

Overall I obviously don't agree with most of the standards set in the series, but it was entertaining.

Thank goodness, I thought no one was gonna reply! Great to have the boxset, it's just rather expensive here in SA, especially the Ugly Betty series.

The chick who ended up being The Carver?? noo it was her brother Quentin wasnt it? or it must have been both considering the last episode on season 3, and the woman who bought the practice was michelle landau the one who married that really rich guy.

Yeah it was both she and her brother, but if I remember correctly, she actually did the killings herself.

I kinda missed the whole carver part but I have just seen the last DVD, when Shaun moved to LA. It was really funny the episode where he had to dress up as Santa and he got sloshed and said those things to those kids. Hilarious!

I thought it was him though, and she was just there to help somewhat, ill have to watch again =)

You're probably right.

The fact that she was involved and knew all about it was creepy enough though. I just never trust new female characters that are introduced to the show because there's a good chance they will end up being some kind of psycho.

Im with you there on that not trusting new characters, I wonder who we could possibly get in the new season that woman with the glases creeped me out didnt like her at all. You looking forward to the new season?

Kind of, but not as much as I have been in the past. I just wish they'd get back to the roots of the show and focus on the families - like, are they going to completely drop the story about Annie and her body image issues that were leaning her toward bulimia? Or Matt's drug addiction and daughter? And Christian raising his little boy?

Instead of bringing in so many new characters and storylines, I wish they'd focus on the people we already know and have come to care about, and work stories for them. KWIM?
