i was wondering ,what do you call your SO affectionately, for example my bfs name is Kurt but i call him Kurtie.. i just thought it would be cool to know what ppl called thier SO's in private.

CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When he hasn't shaved I call him "Scruffy"
My beau goes by his middle name, so when I am in a playful mood I call him "Freddie" (his first name is Frederick) which he does not like, lol.
A fairly usual one is "Pooh Bear"...I forget why I even started that one.
"Mina" is one we use on each other; it is Portuguese for "mine." (He is white, so it is adorable when he says things in my mom's language)

My girlfriend and I stick to the hun and sweetheart. Although we tend to love calling eachother by our first names. Her name is Brittany and I started calling her Britt. I learned real fast not to call her that. She really dislikes that name.

Yeah my friends started calling me that and it has stuck ever since. Although I have to admit Brittany doesn't call me that. I actually somtimes prefer her calling me by my real name. The way she says it just drives me wild.alethakays said:

his FN is Lawrence and I made up the nickname "Law". but that's not cutsey or anything. I also call him snugglebear, my bear, sweetie, honey, love, baby, etc.

Heh.. I call my boyfriend "the REAL Prince Charming" or just "Charming" for short, because he really may be a descendent of a king. He calls me "Pixie" because uhh...I'm really small lol.

Well his nickname for one.. .and his nickname with a y on the end (i'm not putting his name on is all... All the sweet darl/darling/sweety/love/hun etc... um shorty every now and then. Um i sometimes call him barbie, and i'm ken doll.. but that wasn't nickname but more hassling each other..

Well, my fiance likes to call me his "perfect angel", princess, beautiful, and Baby.
I call him, Honey, Sweet heart, My prince, and My Love, and Mikey-poo (I am the only one that can get away with calling him "Mikey" anyone else calls him that and he doesn't like it!)

More often than not I'll call my girlfriend "baby". That or call her by her first name. Her family when she was real little gave her a nickname - "NuNu", which from day one she has absolutely forbid me to call her by. It's funny really when I'm at her house, I'm the only one who calls her by her first name. Everyone else calls her NuNu so I feel like her first name is almost like a nickname - something that only I call her by.
As for me, well, she doesn't have any reagular nicknames for me persay. She's likes to call me by my first name (which is not Ceris - Ceris is a psedonymn I made up), but often she'll say it in a way that I like, a way that almost makes it a nickname like "baby" or something.
Often she'll just so that I'm so big. As in "Sheesh, you're biiiiiig". (I'm a foot taller than her and and about 1 and 3/4 her weight).
