• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Here's the thread Silvio started where he claims he asked a question about Bush when in fact he didn't. Anyone who wants to know the truth can read it here

He's not quoting anyones post from another thread, he's just directing them to another thread. Nothing against that in the rules. Although it is infact a bit nitpicking, I think it's best to give it a rest.

Othervise they'll go on forever, "yes you did... no I didn't... yes you did... no I didn't"......

I direct everyone to the thread title and the original post. It is clear as day that i'm asking the question if it were true.

Am I deluding myself...?

Well I might be wrong on this but,...

If a person who has shown himself to clearly hate bush, and has taken every available opportunity to show bush in a bad light, says "please tell me it's not true" regarding something bad that bush has done.

I tend not to believe him, and I don't either believe that he is being honest with himself.

However if nobody knew what you tought about bush, then yes it seems as if you are just asking a question. And are honestly concerned about bushes reputation. (It's hard to even type that, having read a number of your topics)

So infact you did ask a question, but the purpose of your post was yet another attack on bush.

That's not exactly what this topic is about now though...
