Just broke up with my fiance a week ago... trying to keep busy and let my mind and soul heal.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thats a real tough one. Keep yourself surrounded by good Friends and lots of activities / hobbies. Keep in constant prayer for healing of your Soul and pray for the wellbeing of your once Fiance . Whatever the reason(s) for your breakup, be glad that you both didnt move it forward to marriage in light of the doubts that exist, for, many people still get married even when they know they shouldnt . That was my story quite some time ago to a person who im now divorced from.
PM me if you want to chat or if you want me to tell you what i did to get over the pain quicker than what it normally takes from past breakups including divorce.

I had gotten back together with him and we were doing very well, but he died Feb 23rd. I am lost.

Ohhh...so sad. Maybe you need a Grief Support Group for awhile to help you recover ? Do you stay in touch with his Parents still ? In time you will heal, and God will help you thru this.

I am in contact with his cousins, a friend, and his mom. His dad had nothing to do with him during his life and has shown no support in his death either.
