How long have you been married? How long have you been a Christian? Do you have kids?

I've been married 17 years, been a Christian much longer than that. I married a girl I thought was a new Christian, but she changed her mind soon after marriage. We've got one 14-year-old DD.

Welcome to UY at CF.

As Wayne already said we are all travelling a path where our partner is at a very different spiritual level and struggling with the load.

As Armywf said we try to be a very open and inclusive bunch and welcome in to our group any one that is sincerely looking for help and support in this UY journey.

Feel free to contribute as much or as little as you like, we tend to use the Check-in thread to keep in touch and the Prayer thread and Recommended reads are obvious by their titles.

Unlike Wayne, I married my wife and we were on the same page - neither of us believed. As a result of a traumatic experience that we shared I came to faith but my wife chose the humanistic approach to asuage her grief.

I have been married 30 years next March and have been a Christian for 18 years. This journey sometimes feels as though it will go on forever! But I try to remain optomistic and I know that God knows when it will end, so I trust His judgement.

I have been married 7 years and we have been together 9 years next month. We have two kids a son who is 6 and a daughter who is 4. My daughter loves going to church and attends a Christian PreSchool. My son is more like his father but is starting to come around.

My road to be a Christian has been long but it wasn't until earlier this year that I really accepted Christ into my life and started to change my ways. I am still learning as we all are. I am eager to get more involved into my new church and learn more.

I grew up in a Christian home, but walked away for awhile as an adult. During that time, I got married. We've been married for 7 years too. Our son is 5 and daughter is 3.5. Sounds like you ... except I'm MUCH older!

Hi sounds like we've got some stuff in common,

We will have been married 8 years Oct 17
I was saved the spring after we were married.

I have a 7 year old boy,
a 4 year old girl
and a 3 year old boy

WE homeschool

I'm trying to finish my schooling as well and get a BS which is slow going, studying has kept me from being on here and as long winded as I usually am recently,

God willing it will be over in less then 3 weeks and I'll be back here more regularly
