  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Slow Roasted,

You asked how I like homeschooling. Well.... I LOVE IT!!
I went to a Christian private school for K-4 but started hs in K-5.
I am graduating a year earlier because of hs. HS allows me the pleasure of doing as much as I want to and study subjects not offered in the regular realm of school. Plus I don't have to worry about dressing up and can even wear my pjs while I do my schooling. My schedule is soo full also I can do a lot more in my church & community that I could not have normally done if I was attending a public school. One of the concerns some people have about hs is the social aspect and I can promise you I have no problem in that area. I would recommend it to anyone!!

Is great!! that is the beauty of homeschooling. You can work your schedule differently if you need to. and I can start a little later in the day if I had an extremely late night prior. I can also work on Saturdays, holidays, traveling etc....
Like I said be I am graduating a year earlier because I worked ahead.

Social you should follow me around a week!!
I am heavily involved at my church which has a LARGE youth ministry which I am one of the leaders in. I am also a assistant preschool teacher, AWANA leader, greeter, ladies missionary league member.
I am president of my 4-H group which I compete in several areas local & state. I was selected to be a delegate from my state for 2003 National 4-H Congress.
I baby-sit for several families. I am also involved in community volunteer work in different areas. PLUS
hanging out with my friends as much as possible!

The BIG problem for me is.......finding time to sleep. LOL
