Hello everyone,
I recently posted in the Apologetics section but I think that post belonged here. You'll be seeing me here more often as I realized it is where I need to be. I am a new Christian and I am just now learning the differences between YEC and TE, and I am definitely a TE.
A friend introduced me to Christianity, and I approached it with an open mind. I had always thought it didn't make good sense, then I read books by men like Hugh Ross, Norman Geisler, Michael Behe, Gary Schwartz, Lee Stroebel and other apologetic books whose authors I do not remember. It was the incredible logic and evidence I learned from these books that gave me the faith and the confidence to become a Christian. I am a liberal Christian with a skeptical streak, but a Christian all the same, I think. I always seem to have questions to explore, and I think I'm in the right place
