So its almost 2005...If you were to rock out all night after the ball drops, what artists, songs cds ETC would you play the rest of the night??

Me, I would start with some led, then hendrix..and overall big mix CDs of highpowered classic rock!!

Im not quite sure what my choice would be. Anything with a great beat. Definetly some bands with a great drummer.... lots of drums. Yeah that sounds great to me :D

I will be listening to quite a range for the rest of the day... Probably a lot of Lacuna Coil, Element Eighty, Evanescence, Marilyn Manson...

Something tells me when I get to the club tonight it will be a lot of dance music... and like everyone else, I am addicted to that one Usher song... so hopefully come midnight, we'll be there dancing and partying, and I'll be making out with my girlfriend on the dance floor...

I'm guessing that with the company I'll be keeping tonight it'll be a mixed bag: lots of vintage metal (Maiden/Priest/Sabbath), jazz fusion, some psytrance or ambient techno, maybe some free jazz/improv or death metal or something else entirely. Who knows?

Ok, now that it's over and done with here's the final playlist for my New Year's Eve listening:

started off with a couple new unnamed recordings done by friends
v/a-- Mystery of the Yeti Part 2
Medeski, Martin & Wood-- The Dropper
Yes-- Fragile
then we ended up watching Spinal Tap...

I was a bit off base in my predictions, it seems. Anyone else have some official results to share?
