  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

More people might be interested if you planned to read the whole Bible over a 2 year period. It's also good to say what you want to do after you've all read the chapters (i.e., discuss? learn from an authoritative source? share opinions?). That's what differentiates a personal Bible study and a group Bible study, and a part of how people will decide if they're interested in it or not. (The opportunity to socialize is a part of real-life Bible study group, but that's less appealing when the group can't actually meet with each other.)

I think Ezekiel is misquoted ---try Colossians 3:16. I believe a good way to study the Bible by Books is to first discuss an overview of the Book, as to what it is about, and the content: who is speaking, what is he speaking, where is he speaking, when is he speaking, why is he speaking ---who, what, where, when, why. One needs to get the context of any Bible portion before looking at the verses, I see. That might help you.

Thanks very much for correction.
